Warranty && After-Sales Service – Airbag Travel

Airbag Travel products are designed to offer durability, reliability, and performance for many years.
As a customer, you benefit from:

• Mandatory legal warranties (compliance && hidden defects).
• The Airbag Travel commercial warranty of 3 years, applicable to all our bags and travel accessories.

1. Legal Warranties (France / European Union)

Legal warranties automatically apply to any purchase made by a consumer from a professional seller.

1.1. Legal compliance warranty (2 years)

In accordance with articles L.217-3 and following of the Consumer Code, a product is considered compliant when it:

• Matches the description provided at the time of sale,
• Is suitable for the usual use expected of a product of the same type,
• Has the quality and durability that a consumer can legitimately expect.

Duration:
You have 2 years from the receipt of the product to report a lack of conformity.

Your rights:

• Repair,
• Or replacement,
• And if these solutions are not possible: a partial or full refund.

This legal warranty applies independently of our 3-year commercial warranty.

1.2.Legal warranty against hidden defects

In accordance with articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code, this warranty covers defects not visible at the time of purchase that:

• Render the product unfit for its intended use,
• Or significantly reduce its usefulness.

Your rights:

• Return the product and receive a refund,
• Or keep the product and receive a price reduction.

2. Airbag Travel Commercial Warranty – 3 years

In addition to the legal warranties, all Airbag Travel bags come with a 3-year commercial warranty covering manufacturing or material defects.

2.1.What is covered

Covered for 3 years:

• Seams (abnormal breakage, premature unseaming),
• Zippers with a defect not related to excessive use,
• Straps, handles, fasteners, carabiners,
• Buckles and compression systems,
• Defects related to materials (fabric, lining, reinforcements) under normal use.

Airbag Travel may, as appropriate:

• Repair the item,
• Replace it with an identical or equivalent model,
• Or offer a credit or a refund of the amount paid.

3.Commercial Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear (abrasion, slight discoloration, micro-scratches, fabric softening),
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s functionality,
• Damage caused by:
• Overloading,
• Poor maintenance,
• Extreme exposure (excessive heat, prolonged humidity, solvents),
• Impact, dropping, or crushing,
• Damage caused by carriers (airlines, buses, taxis, etc.),
• Loss or theft of the product,
• Repairs carried out by an unauthorized service.

Also not covered:

• Items transported inside the bag,
• Indirect damages (loss of earnings, travel expenses, missed connections, etc.).

4.How to claim a warranty?

For any request related to a warranty (legal or commercial), please contact us:

Please provide:

• Your name and contact details,
• Your order number,
• The place and date of purchase,
• A description of the issue,
• Photos/videos of the identified defect.

We will review your case and get back to you with the appropriate procedure (repair, replacement, possible return, etc.).

5. Relationship between legal warranties and commercial warranty

Legal warranties always apply and are in no way limited by the Airbag Travel commercial warranty.
The 3-year commercial warranty is an additional benefit offered to customers.
