Our History

REUNION BETWEEN FRIENDS

THE PROBLEM

Thomas, Elias, Hugo, Marco, Jade, Julie and myself (Jordan) were sitting around a table in a café in Lisbon, reminiscing about how much happier our wonderful travels made us, when Jade brought up the tricky subject: luggage. We quickly came to the realization that it was getting tiresome to pay for a few extra pieces of clothing. A few centimetres too many and we had to check them in, which ruined the whole cheap plane ticket thing. So the famous question was asked: what if there was a way to avoid this? A travel bag or a revolutionary suitcase? We had no idea where to start.

AIRBAG TRAVEL BAG

THE IDEA IS BORN

When Julie explained how unbearable it was for her to try to compress all her belongings manually or roll them up to gain a few extra millimeters, Hugo had a revelation: "What if we added a vacuum bag directly integrated into the bag?" Very quickly, the idea was very popular and the idea of a travel bag with an integrated vacuum bag became a reality. Emptying the air as carefully as possible makes the bag practical and compact enough to save up to 55% more space. We looked at each other and knew we had a brilliant idea. AirBag was born.

VACUUM COMPRESSION TECHNOLOGY

55% MORE SPACE

Excited by this revolutionary idea, we immediately got to work. Spending the evening sketching, testing concepts and exchanging ideas until we had perfected every detail. After many trials, we arrived at the ideal design: a lightweight, practical travel bag with a built-in vacuum bag to optimise space and lots of storage pockets. We called it the AirBag Travel Bag, a nod to lightness and ease. Eventually, our project was born, and we began to market the AirBag, offering travellers an ingenious solution that transformed the way they experienced the world.
