Our Story
2022. THE PROBLEM
Thomas, Élias, Hugo, Marco, Jade, Julie, and myself (Jordan) were sitting around a table in a café in Lisbon, reminiscing about how our wonderful trips made us happier, when Jade brought up the thorny subject: luggage. We quickly came to the point that it was becoming tiring to pay for just a few extra clothes. A few centimeters too many and we had to check them in, which ruined the whole deal of the low-cost plane ticket. So, the famous question was asked: what if there was a way to avoid this? A revolutionary travel bag or suitcase? We had no idea where to start.
2023. THE IDEA
When Julie explained how unbearable it was for her to try to manually compress all her belongings or roll them up just to gain a few extra millimeters, Hugo had a revelation: "What if we added a vacuum pocket directly integrated into the bag?" Very quickly, the idea was extremely well received and the concept of a travel bag with an integrated vacuum pocket became a reality. Removing the air as carefully as possible makes the bag practical and compact enough to save up to 55% more space. We looked at each other, and we knew we had a brilliant idea. AirBag was born.
2024. The result
Excited by this revolutionary idea, we immediately got to work. We spent the evening sketching designs, testing concepts, and exchanging ideas until every detail was perfected. After many trials, we arrived at the ideal design: a lightweight, practical travel bag with an integrated vacuum pocket to optimize space and plenty of storage compartments. We called it the AirBag travel bag, a nod to its lightness and ease. Finally, our project came to life, and we began marketing the AirBag, offering travelers an ingenious solution that transformed the way they explored the world.
